Refund & Cancellation Policy

TipTara facilitates voluntary digital tips from customers to eligible service workers. TipTara does not sell physical goods, ship products, provide delivery services, sell subscriptions, or take reservations through the tipping flow.

1. Accidental or duplicate tips

If you believe you sent a tip by mistake or were charged twice, contact support@tiptara.app as soon as possible with the payment date, amount, recipient name, and details shown in your TipTara app or card statement. TipTara will review refund requests based on the payment status, payout status, fraud checks, available funds, and payment processor rules.

2. Unauthorized payments

If you believe your card was used without authorization, contact TipTara support immediately and contact your card issuer. TipTara may investigate the payment and may request additional information to verify the claim. Unauthorized payment claims may also be handled through the card network dispute or chargeback process.

3. Completed tips

Because tips are voluntary payments intended for service workers, completed tips are generally final unless TipTara determines that a payment was accidental, duplicate, unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise eligible for a refund under applicable rules.

4. Cancellations

TipTara tips are one-time voluntary payments. TipTara does not currently sell subscriptions or reservations through the tipping flow. Once a tip is submitted, it may not be cancelable through the app. If you need help with an accidental tip, contact support as soon as possible.

5. No shipping, delivery, or returns

TipTara does not sell or ship physical goods. There are no shipping methods, delivery timelines, return shipping instructions, or physical products to return.

6. Processing time

If TipTara approves a refund, the time for funds to appear on a card statement can depend on the payment processor, card network, and card issuer. TipTara cannot guarantee bank or card issuer timing.
